I went to collect my SAF #4 which i sent for sewing. As they have 'revised' the uniform, the previous camo name tag wld have to be replaced with the new kaki background. The "Singapore" tag wld now be on the left side. It was said tt when SAF troops go overseas for training, it was not very easily identified by foreign troops so tt is y the Sg tag was being introduced. Then on the right collar, the vocation (area of specialisation) badge is being shown. Arty, armour, signals (which is mine btw), commando.....


On the right side is the unit badge. It is so huge n many call it the 'mooncake'! The fitness test badge is on the left side. Well only those who attain gold n silver have it. Haha, i got a silver which does not have the star on top! Well, to attain the gold means tt my 2.4 run must be below 10.15min! As for the rest of the static stations, i can get at least 4 pts for each of them but then the hurdle is the 2.4 run!! However, there is a monetary incentive for the gold which is $400! Silver award gets you half tt amount.
