increase in HMFD

The news reported about a huge surge in Hand-Mouth-Foot Disease over the past couple of weeks. This puts the spotlight on pre-school, childcare and kindergartens. Needless to say, primary and above educational institutions are also on the list. Just hope that when Esther needs to go Just Kids, it will blow over.

I recall this time last year when staff at LPS were on alert to look-out for students who displayed symptoms of HMFD. We constantly reminded all students to uphold their basic hygeine practises and all unwell students were to seek medical attention and stay home until they were well.
