24 hrs a day is a fixed constant. The number of tasks to be completed daily are variables. So what happens if there is a sudden influx of things to be done as and when situation arises? Now comes the aspect of prioritizing one's tasks. Get the more important ones completed first then followed by the next one. If some redundant stuff needs to be put aside for the time being, so be it. However, there are those non-negotiables that must be done on a daily basis so make sure you factor them in as well.
