A very rainy First Day

I was surprised to see a few shops open for business today. We decided to have McD for lunch so we deliberately walked through WM just to take a look. Shop N Save, World of Sports, F&B outlets and Esprit were open for business. As we drove from places to places, we noticed that the roads were fairly quiet. I can imagine the Central Business District will be a ghost town.

We got home just as the skies were about to open up. I recall the weatherman saying that it will be a fairly wet CNY. Hopefully it will cool the environment but not to the extent of dampening the festive mood.

Got a second round of "lou hei" tonight. Third round tomorrow and of course this coming Sat as well.
