Illegal parking

I saw at least 4 cars which illegal parked on campus today and that resulted in them being wheel clamped. I think the respective owners must have been wanting to find a parking lot failing which they took the risk by parking indiscriminately. Furthermore, the heavy downpour made them take the easy way out. The damage is about $100 on their wallets and a possible blacklist against their vehicles perhaps?

The logic is simple: If you wish to drive to campus, either leave early so that you can a lot or just incur $3 per day and park in a designated lot. It is simply not worth it to illegal park thereby obstructing others and risking a fine. Some places will just get the tow truck and this will result in more damage as the owner has to incur the towing fee and illegal fine as well.
