Drive safe and stay alive

The past 2 days or so have seen the newspapers reporting about a family involved in a high-speed fatal crash of which only the 2mth old infant survived. The rest in the car perished. Pictures showed the wreckage and experts speculate that at impact the vehicle was travelling above 100kmh. It is indeed saddening to read the details of the newspaper article but the basic message of driving safe should never be ignored. Even when travelling at speeds below the speed limit, it may be wise to judge to road conditions before deciding whether it is safe to drive at the limit.
