PCK Season Finale

In just a fortnight, Singapore's favourite contractor Phua Chu Kang Pte Ltd will 'close shop'. Well, the local sitcom will air its last 2 episodes 2 tuesdays from now. I recall the first season which made its debut 10 years ago. At that time, there were many other local sitcoms but none could equal the humour, wit and plot of "Under One Roof". However, as time went by, PCK slowly made its name and built up its reputation. PCK, played by Gurmit Singh, never failed to capture the audience with his classic yellow boots, debatable Singlish and authentic local essence.

10 years on, PCK will air its last episode. However, i believe that like "Under One Roof", PCK will always remain in the minds of Singaporeans. I used to think that "Under One Roof" is the benchmark of local sitcoms. However, kudos to the producers, scriptwriters and crew of PCK for making it so entertaining and interesting.

I sure will miss PCK.
