Cool and wet day

The sun must have been on leave today while the rain clouds were working overtime. Throughout the day it was raining and drizzling. Thankfully when we went to pick Esther it did not pour at all. However, the wet weather did cause some problems on the roads. This morning there was an accident along West Coast Rd involving a trailer which skidded. Earlier when we were on our way home, there was another heavy vehicle that skidded along the SLE and I think it involved another car as well.

Basically, road safety is everyone's responsibility. Even though you may have the absolute right of way but the onus is still on all road users to prevent mishaps. Slow down a little, increase the braking distance and be extra cautious on rainy days.
